Roger Keil gave a paper entitled "The Rise of the Suburbs and the Challenge of Metropolitan Governance" at the Spatiality and Justice Interdisciplinary Investigations on a Political Philosophy of the City workshop in Montreal from May 5-7, 2011.
This workshop addresses an area of study that has been surprisingly under-examined by theorists: the city. What is a just city? Can we regulate urban spaces in a way that is consistent with the demands of justice? It was organized by the Centre de recherche en éthique de l'Université de Montréal and the McGill Research Group on Constitutional Studies.
