Collaborative Greater Toronto Suburban Working Group Launches Roundtable Report

The Greater Toronto Suburban Working Working Group's Roundtable Report was launched today at the Suburban Revolution conference at York University. Co-authors Sean Hertel and Roger Keil unveiled the report that includes 10 essays about the changing face of  the Greater Toronto Area from academics, community members and practitioners, working together to address the challenges facing the suburbs of Canada's biggest city.

As the authors write in the introduction, "...The suburbs have grown up and moved on but how we think about the suburbs have not."

Most of Toronto's urban growth is in its suburban rim and the report addresses issues of design, governance and the social and demographics changes that affect these crucial, fast-growing areas.
