The Office of the Vice-President Research Innovation held an event honoring 3 recent large scale, collaborative and interdisciplinary research awards at York University. "Celebration: Research Excellence at York University". The MCRI "Global Suburbanisms" was featured in this celebration and several of the project's staff, students, faculty members and partners attended this event.
