Adaoma C. Patternson currently works for the Region of Peel, Human Services Department, and is leading the development and implementation of the first regional poverty reduction strategy. The three-year multi-stakeholder strategy will focus on four areas: affordable transit, food insecurity, income insecurity and economic opportunities. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Jamaican Canadian Association, a 2010 DiverseCity Fellow and a member of the Greater Toronto CivicAction Alliance's Steering Committee.
